Job Description

As an Account Manager, you provide the client experience and own the day-to-day relationship between the client and our agency. You are NAIL’s best advocate and the client’s trusted shepherd in the delivery of creative, effective, results-oriented work. You can craft a strategic perspective and recruit others to your cause. 

This dynamic, detailed, service-oriented role prioritizes the relationship between our agency and our clients to deliver high-quality creative work, along with the flexibility and sensibility to problem solve along the journey to achieve the best outcome for all. This position is an integral part of our agency’s success, is the key to satisfaction and delight for our clients and our staff, and ensures our ability to win more work from current and future clients.

Responsibilities include


Meet and liaise with clients to discuss and identify their business and project requirements.

Demonstrate effective consulting skills to challenge the status quo coming from clients.

Successfully turn consultative conversations with clients into actionable project plans, briefs, and exciting work for the agency.

Have the ability to negotiate fees and a scope of work.

Set necessary meetings and presentations with clients and relevant 3rd parties being mindful of approval structures and client-side politics.

Be a convincing presenter, alongside agency colleagues, of the campaign ideas and budgets.

Maintain open written and oral communications with the client on an on-going basis regarding project status and costs accountability.

Foster a strong, strategic relationship with the client to enable and/or grow level of agency partnership.


Collaborate with agency colleagues to devise a business/creative solution that meets the client’s brief and budget.

Work with internal and external resources to collaborate on media planning/purchasing, research, and campaign results reporting.

Track and document project and client success.

Be knowledgeable and able to thoughtfully articulate the capabilities and expertise of NAIL.

Education and Experience

At least 3+ years of account management experience in creative services, advertising, or marketing

Demonstrated history of successful business relationships

Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal and presentation skill

Strong comprehension of creative workflow and processes

Resourceful self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity

Demonstrated customer service skills, including approachability, understanding, attentiveness, empathy and positivity.

Strong problem-solving skills, looks for innovative and creative solutions and is solution-oriented.

Have experience with managing, creating and forecasting budgets.

Ability to work under pressure; deadline focused, organized, and able to prioritize multiple projects at any one time.

Has the ability to quickly pivot – adapting to change when needed.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Can-do attitude and strives to do more for a growing team!
