Increased demand for more technical and STEM-based learning threatened the value of a liberal arts education. As a leading liberal arts school,Wesleyan University needed to:


Make the case for a liberal arts education; and 


Specifically assert the value of a Wesleyan University education.


Nail partnered with Wesleyan University to:

Develop a positioning to convey the core truth: bravery among students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni.


Redesign the visual and verbal brand identity to match the updated positioning and deliver the key brand messages.


Produce an anthem video to communicate with emotion.


Our Strategic Insight

While universities focus on the transfer of knowledge, Wesleyan nurtures the application of it. This sparked the brand’s new positioning, brand identity, and anthem video.
